Turitea Wind Farm, Palmerston North

AES were engaged by the Ministry for the Environment to conduct an independent review of the work of four other acoustic experts relating to the 121 turbine Turitea Wind Farm near Palmerston North.

Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

AES provided acoustic expertise relating to a new "Spectator Events and Education Zone" in the Dunedin City Plan. The plan change was necessary to allow the Forsyth Barr Stadium to host large sporting, cultural, and entertainment events, while ensuring that noise effects for nearby residents are minor.

Remarkables Primary School, Queenstown

Remarkables primary school is a leading edge education facility for approximately 500 students, and the first new state primary school to be built in the lower south island since 1981. AES offered a professional design service on this project including facilitation of acoustic criteria, value engineering, building acoustics design and advice, consultation with key stakeholders including the Ministry of Education, contract administration and observation, and verification measurements.

Christchurch Civic Building

AES is pleased to have been involved with the Christchurch Civic Building which has achieved a 6 Green Star Office Design rating, with the highest ever score achieved by an office building in New Zealand.

Salvation Army Centre, Christchurch

AES were engaged to provide a wide range of acoustic consultancy services on behalf of The Salvation Army to assist in the design of their new premises in central Christchurch. The facility, when complete, will include a 300 person worship hall, several other multi-purpose halls, and meeting and office spaces.
