Building Acoustics
At AES we work with architects and other engineers to design houses, apartment buildings, offices, schools, auditoriums and other facilities which provide a positive aural experience for users. We understand the importance of reducing noise from both within a building and from external sources such as traffic and aircraft. We provide advice and assistance with regard to Clause G.06 of the New Zealand Building Code, IEQ-12 of the New Zealand Green Building office tool, and other planning requirements relating to acoustic insulation in buildings. We also offer a professional design service for specialist spaces including theatres, auditoriums, atriums and classrooms.
