About Us

AES is an acoustic engineering consultancy company with offices in Christchurch which are shared with associates Cosgroves. Since its inception in April 2006, AES has risen rapidly to become one of the leading acoustic consultancies in the South Island. The company currently consists of three engineers.

AES has completed a wide range of projects in association with some of New Zealand’s leading project management, architectural, planning and engineering companies. These projects are spread throughout New Zealand, with the majority being located in the South Island.

AES is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of New Zealand (ACENZ), and AES Directors are involved in associated industry groups such as IPENZ and the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI). AES are regularly engaged by local Councils to provide peer review services on practical matters, and also provide peer review on technical matters for the New Zealand Acoustical Society, Australian Acoustical Society and the Journal of Sound and Vibration.
